A Nigerian Body Was Found Lifeless On Cyprus Beach

Stanley Eteimo's body was floating in a private beach in Cyprus on Thursday 8th August. The 28 year talented guy who worked part-time as a music producer, had gone to a party at a popular 5-star hotel called Cratos Premuim Hotel, Girne on Wednesday August 7th with some friends.

According to eye witness while at the party, he met a white girl he knew way back in school and held some discussion with her. Apparently on the boyfriend sighting the close rapport between them got jealous, and then decided to confront Stanley which led to serious argument between the two guys.  The Turkish dude allegedly threatened to kill Stanley for disrespecting him and was overheard saying nothing will happen because Stanley was in his country.

At  around 2am, some of the friends he came with told him it’s time for them to go back home, that they had enough of their fun, but Stanley told them he hadn’t got enough. By 4am, when the party had ended, his friend didn't see him and assumed he had gone home.

By 3pm on Thursday 8th of August, Stanley’s body was discovered by hotel staff management of Cratos Hotel who called the police informing them of seeing a body floating by the shore of their private beach.

The Cyprus police have declared it a suicide case without autopsy. They are claiming he committed suicide by drowning himself. His friends have said on seeing Stanley’s body they saw blood stain from his ear, mouth and nose and some bruises.  They insists it's not suicide case as Stanley had no reason to commit suicide and wants the Turkish guy who threatened him at the party be investigated.

It is also strange that, the hotel Management has refused to provide CCTV tapes of that particular day. However, the staff said they neither notice Stanley come in or go out of the premises.

The question on our mind is, how could a five star as big as Cratos Premium Hotel which is rated one of the best hotel, say they don’t have the CCTV TAPE of that particular Night.  We do hope the Nigerian government will take a look at the case, this is not a case that should be swept under the carpet, as most offend we hear cases like this where most African are sometimes Mobbed.

Friends of Stanley Eteimo say he was a lovely person, full of life, and had a great spirit, transparent soul and a lovely personality.

"We have lost a rare gem and a terrific person." They said

He was a student of Girne American University.

His candle light remembrance will take place at Club W's winter parking lot, Girne on Sunday 11th of August.  We pray his soul rest in Perfect peace. Amen.
