YOUNG NIGERIAN GIRL MAKES FORBES MAGAZINE HISTORY

 As the Quintessential global title focusing on individual wealth creation and wealth management,  Forbes magazine, founded in 1917 has successfully developed a substantial  footprint across the world. With core business in the US market, and a very strong market Europe, and now the emerging global markets of India, Russia, China, and Brazil, it is still arguably the most referenced title for those who have used financial wealth to make a difference in the world. Not so long our own Omotola Jolade Ekeinde featured as one of the 100 influential people in the magazine.

Now a 10 year old Nigerian Girl debuts in Forbes. Continues….

For the August 2013 edition of Forbes Africa, history was made. A young 10 year old African Girl Child quietly made history in the nearly 100 year old title, by becoming the youngest person ever to be interviewed, for an edition of the global iconic magazine title.

Touted by some as the next Larry King, and by ARISE News as the next Oprah Winfrey, titles Zuriel Oduwole boldly and cleverly shies away from, her focus since age 9 has been to try and do two simple things- Rebrand Africa by showing the positive things in and about the continent, and making the case for educating the Girl Child in Africa and Emerging Markets.

As an award winning documentary film maker, conference speaker, writer, and an invited guest to the recent African Union 50^th Anniversary Celebrations in Ethiopia, she has in her quest in making the case on the above interviewed leading African Business, Political, and Sports personalities in front of her Camera, including 8 current African Presidents, Africa’s richest person and Tennis star sisters– Venus and Serena Williams.

Zuriel which means in Hebrew For God Is My Rock, believes is she can walk a miles, then there are girls who on seeing her work and progress made, would walk a mile and half. That, she believes is one simple way to inspire the African Girl Child, and show the world the need to educate the continents often forgotten Girl Child, of which Zuriel is one. As she looks into the future, it is likely history could be made, again as indeed there is hope for Nigeria and Africa in general!
