YOUR HEALTH – ALL YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT KARTAGENER SYNDROME

This post should probably fall under Amazing Findings, because until yesterday, I had no idea someone could have his or her organs reversed or in a mirrored state ….. This is what my average nigerian would refer to as the works of the people that fly at night from the person’s village, if you understand what am talking about for those of us who are from Africa.

Anyways, I came about this finding while researching on what to put off for my health column on the blog today.

Now lets crack it... Take a seat and listen while I educate you on this new discovery I came across.

Situs inversus is a congenital condition where a person is born with their visceral organs in the reversed or “mirrored” condition to what most of the population consider normal (situs solitus). For instance, the heart is on the right side of the chest instead of the left. The appendix is on the left instead of the right, you’d think on the left side you’d be operating on the lung with 2 lobes only to open up and find it has 3 lobes, I guess this further stresses the importance of the patient’s anamnesis. It is a rare condition and exists in less than 1 in 10,000 person, so what happens here is; bearing in mind that it’s a congenital disorder. Then you might want to ask  what’s the connection between respiration and situs inversus?

Here’s the really long but interesting part
the mechanism or the pathophysiology of its development, the connection is, according to wikipedia, 25% of individuals with situs inversus have an underlying condition known as PCD (primary ciliary dyskinesia) and those with PCD have a 50% chance of developing situs inversus, now if they do, they are said to have Kartagener syndrome which is characterised by the triad of situs inversus, chronic sinusitis and bronchiectasis.

People that have situs inversus present unusual medical problems, for instance, appendicitis can go undiagnosed because the appendix will be on the opposite side of the body, the liver edge would also be palpated on the left instead of the right making organ transplants especially of the heart way more complicated as organs from normal donors must be fitted in such a way that everything hooks up in a weird kind of right, which is now unique to the congenital peculiarity of that person.

Situs inversus is generally not fatal as many people live with the condition and never know it, although others still have complications unique to their condition. With that said, Randy Foye, is an American basketball player in the NBA living very well with no distinguishable signs of situs inverus.

Writing this post was interesting as it was educative, hope you were informed through this post. I hope I get to meet a patient with situs inversus.

Expect to read more amazing findings I’d discover on health and life issues.

N.B. feel free to email (info.posche@gmail.com) a post of any amazing medical findings you think might tickle our fancy.

Have an awesome week. :)

Ciao!

Woman Dies of Over Weight, Weighing Almost 300kg

The tragic story of a mother-of-six’s battle with her weight after she ballooned to 49 STONE has been made into a poignant documentary.

Dominique Lanoise was house bound for 20 years and had to be fed and washed by her daughters because she was so incapacitated by her size.

Her struggles with food have now been charted in the film 600lb Mom: Race Against Time. Dominique died in March this year, aged just 41.

The fly-on-the-wall show reveals how she was put on a strict diet in 2011 to drop from 606lbs to the 500lbs maximum weight she needed to reach to qualify for gastric bypass surgery.

The mum lost more than 100lbs in 10 months but when she went for a hospital weigh-in four months later she had piled on even more weight.

Dominique’s doctor found one surgeon who agreed to do the surgery when the mum of six weighed 600lbs.

He asked Dominique to lose weight in the three months before the procedure – but at the next check-up her weight had ballooned to 689lbs.

Doctors still reduced her stomach to the size of an egg and Dominique lost 55lbs in just four days.

But after being referred to rehab and hating it she checked herself out after two days. Just nine weeks later she fell ill and died on March 10, weighing 43 stone

Dominique first came to the media’s attention in 2010 when she was forced to stay in Haiti for three months after the earthquake, because she was too heavy for commercial airlines. Instead she was forced to travel back to the US in a military cargo plane.

Despite doctors’ orders to eat more healthily, she continued to indulge in her favorite Haitian dishes and sprinkled her meals with appetite-suppressing powder, wrongly thinking it would counteract the calories.

28 Year Old Mother Of Two Dies After Receiving Butt Implants From Quack 'Doctor'

Police have launched an investigation after a woman died receiving butt-enhancement injections from a man who claimed to be a doctor from Venezuela.

Suyima Torres, 28, died in April, and police are treating it as manslaughter connected to the unlicensed practice of medicine.

Suyima reportedly visited Cuerpos Health and Aesthetics for a $1,500 procedure in which an oily  yellow substance was injected into each of her butt cheeks, according to court documents.

A few weeks later she had another round of injections and felt dizzy right after. She died ten hours later.

Though her cause of death has not been determined, police are treating it as a homicide.

Miami Dade Police seized records, medications, and computers from Cuerpos Health and Aesthetics LLC.

No charges have been filed but authorities still have few details for family members and a suspect believed to have left the country.

Ruth Planas, the owner of Cuerpos Health and Aesthetics LLC, is refusing to provide any information on the 'Venezuelan Doctor'.

Torres' mother, Coralia Espinosa, told NBCMiamiher daughter was rushed to the hospital accompanied by Ruth Planas after the second procedure.
But she never told the doctors about the procedure.  'Maybe if that woman would've told them early my daughter would still be here,' she told NBCMiami.

The business appears to be closed, locked down and packages are being left on the doorstep. MTorres' death happened just 16 days after 20-year-old Dailen Garcia says she received buttocks injections at the same center and then suffered vision problems and bleeding of the lungs.

What won't we hear in the name of looking beautiful...to me this is sickingly insane...to what use is this, it only shows lack of low self esteem in most of these women who goes running to the doctors for such surgeries, eventually meeting their untimely death.

My question is to the men out, would you encourage your girlfriend, fiancé, wife or sister for such surgeries?

Misconceptions about HIV and AIDS

A medical research report in Nigeria has come up with a figure that over 700 million People have been medically proven to live with HIV while close to 500 million have been suspected to be positive to HIV around the world. But these people have not come out boldly to either be tested for HIV or treated due to the myths and misconceptions surrounding the infection. It has also been noted that all over the world, HIV should have become a forgone issue if majority of the world populace had developed a positive disposition towards the virus and various methods of treatment, control and possible eradication.
For nearly 30 years, HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) and AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) have been shrouded in many myths and misconceptions. Although unanswered questions about HIV remain, researchers have learned a great deal. Here are the top few myths about HIV, along with the facts to dispute them.
It is believed that one can get HIV by being around people who are HIV-positive. But evidence shows that HIV is not spread through touch, tears, sweat, or saliva. You cannot contract HIV by breathing the same air as someone who is HIV-positive; by touching a toilet seat or doorknob handle after an HIV-positive person; by drinking from a water fountain; by hugging, kissing, or shaking hands with someone who is HIV-positive; by sharing utensils with an HIV-positive person or by using exercise equipment at a gym. But you can definitely get it from infected blood, semen, vaginal fluid, or mother’s milk.
It is also a held-belief that people should not worry about becoming HIV positive, that new drugs will keep any one well. This is a misconception because, inasmuch as antiretroviral drugs are improving and extending the lives of many people who are HIV-positive, many of these drugs are expensive and produce serious side effects. None yet provides a cure. Also, drug-resistant strains of HIV make treatment an increasing challenge.
An average man believes that one can contract HIV from mosquitoes, because HIV is spread through blood. People have been worried that biting or bloodsucking insects might spread HIV. Several studies, however, show no evidence to support this even in areas with lots of mosquitoes. When insects bite, they do not inject the blood of the person or animal they have last bitten. Also, HIV lives for only a short time inside an insect.
In the early years of the scourge, the death rate from AIDS was extremely high. But today, antiretroviral drugs allow HIV-positive people and even those with AIDS to live much longer, normal, and productive lives. Neither is AIDS a genocide phenomenon; an HIV victim can live his life to the fullest.
Another belief is that HIV victims receiving treatment can’t spread the virus; yes they can. Although when HIV treatments work well, they can reduce the amount of virus in the blood to a level so low that it doesn’t show up in blood tests. Research shows, however, that the virus is still ‘hiding’ in other areas of the body. It is still essential to practise safe sex, so you won’t make someone else become HIV-positive. Couples who are both HIV positive have many reasons to practise safer sex and please do not believe that while practising safer sex  wearing condoms can protect you both from becoming exposed to other (potentially drug resistant) strains of HIV.
Remember that sometimes, a partner can be HIV-positive and not have any symptoms for years. The only way for you or your partner to know if you’re HIV-positive is to get tested. It’s also true that oral sex is less risky than some other types of sex. But you can get HIV by having oral sex with either a man or a woman who is HIV-positive. So couples should always use a latex barrier during oral sex.
Questions and Answers
She fears she may also be infected for life
How do I deal with itchy eczema that is permanently on my pubic area? I have noticed this since I was a child. Back then, it always prevented me from sleeping well and the best my parents could do was to assure me it would disappear with age. I have treated it with anything available all to no avail. Now after a few years of marriage, my wife does not only tease me but after frantically trying to help cure it, she has stayed away from our bed. She says she will return when I find a permanent solution to it. She fears she may be also infected for life. Besides, the scare from the itching makes her irritated. What can I do?
Mr. Baidola Kuba
Because eczema is so visible, it can lead to self-esteem issues and sexual humiliation. Long time eczema can be a bit difficult to cure, especially when you have applied different medications to no avail. The other option you have is to go natural. How you wash your skin is important. Always take a cool bath every day and use a gentle cleanser instead of soap and avoid scrubbing that area. While the area  is still damp, apply local shea-butter with honey as moisturizer. Do this two to three times a day, including after bathing and every time you make use of toilets.
Try not to scratch or rub your skin when it itches. This will only worsen the itching and inflammation. When you scratch, you can break the skin and open it up to infection. Instead, rub local pap smear or white part of the egg on the surface; this can help control itching and soothe the skin. Avoid irritating pants or trouser fabrics like wool or coarsely woven materials. Wash all new underwear / clothes before you wear them in order to remove potentially irritating chemicals. Use a mild laundry detergent that doesn’t have fragrance or dyes. Rinse your underwear/clothes twice to remove traces of soap. When you’re too hot, your eczema can get worse. High temperatures can make you sweat, which can make the pubic area itchy and irritated. In cold season, heated cover clothes often have low humidity, which dries skin and causes itching. Avoid using lots of blankets so you won’t sweat while you sleep. And take a cold shower after you exercise.
He has no feelings for me
I’ve been married for eight years and I love my husband dearly. But sometimes when we make love, it seems like he has no feelings for me but only for himself. He is a little rough at times. Afterward, I can’t help feeling I’ve been taken advantage of. I want to enjoy sex, but I feel degraded because of his approach. What can I do to resolve this problem?
Moji Mojola Lawrence
It’s as if you’re preparing a sumptuous, elaborate feast of your husband’s favourite food  but there’s no plate set for you on the table. You’re left out of your own sexual relationship, which must be lonesome and frustrating. Not much can happen to change this until your husband really hears your hurt. Your letter doesn’t indicate that you’ve tried to talk to him about this. Don’t expect him to read your mind or that he should know. Be prepared to verbalise your needs, feelings, and desires. Think about how you are expressing them now. Feelings have a way of coming out, often non verbally. Maybe your husband will catch on if you try a different technique for expressing your feelings. It often helps to use first-person statements or emotional word pictures. As you express your feelings, find out about your husband’s feelings too. Don’t assume that he intends to be unfeeling or unkind. Sometimes, what comes across as sexual selfishness may be something else, such as fears or frustration in disguise. Maybe he has even been wishing all along that you wouldn’t hold back, not realising that his own behaviours are keeping you from becoming vulnerable. He may actually welcome your suggestions and some solutions.
If wishes were horses, beggars will ride
I trust you can come to my aid. I am a happily married man in my late 60s who can no longer perform sexually as well as I used to; or as I would have loved to. Maybe it is what you call ‘mid-life sexual crisis.’  Getting an erection is not my problem, but the erection is not sufficiently hard and I am not able to maintain the erection for a reasonable length of time. Sometimes while in the middle of the act, I simply lose erection, even before ejaculation. I do not have the problem of quick ejaculation because if my erection is hard enough and I am able to sustain the erection, I can experience a delayed ejaculation. I would at least wish to go for two rounds of sex before I stop and this will satisfy my wife, who luckily is very understanding.  In short, I need to do something about it and quick if I am not to frustrate my wife who is some 15 years younger. She does not deserve to be frustrated. Can you please recommend to me which supplements will be best for my situation? My wife thinks I can’t be helped. She said if wishes were horses, beggars will ride. Please prove her wrong.
Babs Okafor
First and foremost, I would appreciate it if you can practise more of kegel exercise and also take a lot of vegetable and local spices such as ginger, garlic, walnut, bitter kola and the likes. Drinking of local vegetable fluid, coconut water would help in rejuvenating the nerves, veins and arteries of the penis. From the look of things, your erectile challenge is more of age-related than any other. You can use some of our natural herbs from Vietnam. These herbs have put smiles on the faces of many people suffering from erectile challenges.
Normal testosterone but no sexual drive
I am 38 and remarried in March 2013. My doctor tested me twice this year and I have normal and healthy testosterone levels, but I feel as if I have no desire to have sex. This problem happened during our first week being married. I have a very hard time getting an erection, and an even harder time keeping an erection. Neither self-stimulation nor with the aid of sexual mental or graphic images seem to help. Most times, I can go flaccid as soon as I want. I also have a hard time enjoying it during sex, I rarely feel anything. Often I have to check the shaft of my penis during sex to verify that I still have an erection, because I barely feel anything. I never had this problem before I got remarried. I was able to easily (willingly and unwillingly) get an erection and sustain it several times a day. My thoughts were often crowded with the desire to be sexually involved. I have often wondered if I’m going through unusual stress, but that is not the case either. In the past, stress has always increased my desire for sex. Do you think there’s something psychological going on?
Jimson
Have you checked your blood sugar recently? High blood sugar can block the formation of hormone that causes the relaxation of the blood vessels in your sex organ so that it swells and becomes harder but not feeling.  And also, when last did you check your oestrogen levels…? (All males have some oestrogen, just as all women have some testosterone); they may be a little high; if that is the case, you need to balance it up. If your hormones, testosterone and oestrogen are all still normal, it is probably psychological. You said it happened virtually overnight, beginning a week or so after you got married;  maybe, (I mean no disrespect) it has something to do with your new wife. Has she offended you and it is hard for you to forgive her? Or is she not looking the way you imagine while on bed? Maybe some sexy lingerie would help; there may also be a need for you to do some thinking ‘out of the box.’ Do some ‘non-conventional’ things; use your imagination, and as long as you don’t hurt each other, it’s okay to try!

Ghana Achieves Breakthrough In Heart Surgery

The National Cardiothoraic Centre (NCTC)of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has successfully carried out a ground-breaking heart surgery without opening the chest of the patient.
The one-hour coronary stenting surgery on a 50-year old Nigerian could have taken five hours if the heart surgeons had used the normal open-heart procedure.
A coronary stenting surgery involves placing a tube in the coronary arteries which supply the heart with blood to keep the arteries open in the treatment of coronary heart disease; the most common type of heart disease that leads to heart attack.
A stent is a tiny, expandable mesh tube made of medical-grade stainless steel or cobalt alloy metal.
The three doctors led by the Director of NCC; Dr. Lawrence Agyemang Sereboe, performed the surgery on the Patient (Muhammed Diggol) who is from Kano State, Nigeria. He was earlier in the year diagnosed of severe heart pain which made it difficult for him to breathe propserly.
Other members of the surgery team were Dr. Abdul Samed Tanko, Head of the Cardiology, and Dr. Martin Adu Adade, a cardiologist.

Strictly For The Married!

Note that this article is for the good of the married and adult singles who should be preparing for marriage Our relationships are suffering and nobody wants to go into the main problems We are all chasing shadows tagging it all, “Spiritual”

Like I always tell people Every man is a fan of the vagina and every woman is a fan of the Penis. The only thing that determines how strong a fan your husband will be is your ability to make his time in there a memorable one It has nothing to do with age and class. It has everything to do with your knowledge of hygiene and body care.

How many women can boast of a clean southern hemisphere that is free from foul odour and itching?

Girl what does your man see and perceive when you are alone with him?

A lot of relationships have broken up because of this foul odour emanating from the vaginal area (guys won’t let their pastor and priest know that this is the problem). A good number of men have lost interest in sex with their wives because of the inability of the woman to take proper care of this zone.

Before I go on, I want you to stand in front of your mirror and do a little check-up. What does your vaginal area look like? Is it a forest with several animals living in it. A tiled floor Or a well trimmed garden?

Okay let me bring it down to your level. What is the condition of the hairs down there? Have you tried to find out how he likes it? If he wants to have some hairy feel? You must keep it well trimmed If he wants it hairless.  Do it for him. But make sure you go hairless without bumps as that would be saddening.

In today’s discussion, I am going to let you know those little things you do ignorantly. Thereby destroying your vaginal area, which also includes:

1. Lack of Exercise. Are you one of those who believe exercise is just for weight loss?

You are wrong. Exercise goes a long way to affect your sex life. Your man wants to have his woman fit and flexible in bed. The more weight you gain, the more difficult it becomes for your man to enjoy sex with you. Lack of exercise will make your vaginal muscles weak.

The best exercise to improve sex is the Kegel squeeze. Which basically strengthens your PC muscles which holds up your vagina Uterus-anus-bladder and urethra. The stronger the muscles are the more intense your orgasms will be.

Try to stop urine flow when you pee. Hold the squeeze for five seconds
then release. You can also squeeze your pelvic area while cooking in the kitchen or right there in your office.

Doing 50 to 100 Kegel squeezes a day will help keep those muscles in good shape.

Don’t do Kegels constantly because it can lead to urinary tract and bladder infections.

2. Wrong Underwear
That particular underwear looks nice doesn’t mean it is good for you. Always go for cotton under wears.
Avoid panties made from synthetic materials as they inhibit the circulation of air around the vaginal area.
Creating the damp Warm condition ideal for bacterial growth.

Cotton is by far the best fabric to wear and if you enjoy wearing silky under wear save it for occasional rather than everyday use.

In addition to this:
3. Avoid  constant wearing of tight-fitting trousers panty hose and girdles.

4. Poor Hygiene
I get goose pimples whenever I hear women talk about going to bed sometimes without having their bath.

Some celebrities have even said it on national television (I UniqueSharon I can’t ) Are deodorants and perfumes supposed to take the place of a good bath in a woman’s life?

How can a normal woman sleep without a night bath? Some even sleep with their bras and panties. Ladies it is not healthy.

Smelling good outside doesn’t mean you are clean inside. Always keep your genital area clean and dry.

5. Douching
Please avoid those douching products in the market. They do you more harm than good. They are one of the major causes of vaginal itching. Your vagina doesn’t require cleansing other than normal bathing.

Repetitive douching affects the normal organisms in the vagina and can actually increase the risk of vaginal infection.  Douching won’t clear up a vaginal infection.

6. Scented and Harsh Soaps
Don’t use scented or harsh soap such as those with deodorant and anti-bacterial components. There are different ranges of feminine wash in the market. These are soap-free and safer for you. Just get into your local drugstores and ask for feminine wash like Sebamed Femfresh.

Summer’s Eve and Beauty Formula. These are affordable I don’t know what you feel about the popular Lactacid in the market. But I can tell you it is harsh for your vagina.

7. Avoid scented Tampons and sanitary pads
Keep that can of body spray away from your vaginal area. Avoid those feminine sprays from that area. They will only lead to irritation. Coloured toilet paper and bubble baths should also be avoided. Wipe from front to back after using the toilet. This stops the spreading of faecal bacteria to your vagina.

8. Use of Public Toilet.
I personally don’t use public toilets. I have  been able to train myself not to use them. You can do that too. But if you must use public toilets, Please always have a small bottle of antiseptic in your bag to wipe the toilet seat before use.

Never use it on your vaginal area as that can lead to itching.

9. Indecency
Ladies,  you keep jumping from one man to the other out of greed. I want to let you know that this freelance nature could lead to your trouble.

The introduction of sperm into the vagina which has a different PH (acid/alkaline) balance to that in the vagina can lead to vaginal odour.

The earlier you learnt to be faithful to your partner, the better for you. Why should you go through your life depending on antibiotics and clotrimazole cream? They will in no distant time weaken your immune system.

You may escape it now but the result of reckless lifestyle will spring up at old age.

10. Endeavour to  have a glass of natural yoghurt everyday whenever you have vaginal itching. Having garlic as part of your diet is also recommended. Avoid too much of spicy and refined foods. Also avoid excessive washing of the vaginal area with different soap as that can only make it worse.

Like I always tell people, every man is a fan of the vagina and every woman is a fan of the Penis. The only thing that determines how strong a fan your husband will be is your ability to make his time in there a memorable one.

Please do all within your human power to get that man to begin to enjoy sex with you. When he fingers you and all he gets is a room filled with terrible odour oozing from your vagina. He won’t try it another day, when this happens you find your man having sex just to fulfill his role as the husband and no longer because he enjoys it with you.

Some women go about complaining about their husband not being able to satisfy them in bed and do it the way they want it. Madam, how do you expect a man who loves life the way you do to put his mouth in there with all the foul smell?

A woman sent me a text telling me her husband loves her sucking him, but when it is her turn the man remembers he is a chief in his town who shouldn’t do that.  The truth is that a good number of those men still go out and do it to their girlfriends.

This is a good reason for you to tell yourself the truth about your state of hygiene and help the man to become a good husband to you.

You shall begin to enjoy sex with your spouse because that is God’s will for every marriage.

Don’t forget there is nothing like unsanctified sex in marriage (except anal sex) However you do it with your husband or wife is acceptable before God.

Breast Awareness Campaign

Sometimes ago i discussed issues related to how to guide against the breast sagging. Today, I would like to bring our  attention to a serious and very worthy cause that affects millions of women worldwide- Breast Cancer.

The month of October is  dedicated as the Breast Cancer awareness month.

Some notable organisations has come together with Sebeccly Cancer Care (www.sebecclycancercare.org) to raise awareness, educate, support and raise funds for women and their families battling with breast cancer in Nigeria.

It is safe to say that all of us know or knew of at least one woman who has been affected by this disease and for this reason I would like to plead for your assistance.

Am aware that there will be an open house sales at the Ikeja outlet of DealDey throughout the month of october, with doctors and medical personnel on ground to exam and educate on how to examine themselves as a method of early  prevention. Early detection and education of Breast Cancer is key in reducing the high mortality rate in Nigeria.

So help us spread the word and take your mothers, wives, sisters, daughters and friends on a lingerie shopping spree were you can make a difference no matter how small.

Thank you for your support.

Health: Women, What you Should Know About Your Body ((Vaginitis)

Vaginal Infection (vaginitis)

                                                    What is a vaginal Infection?
A vaginal infection is known medically as "vaginitis." The most common causes of vaginal infections are  Yeast Infections, Bacterial Vaginosis, and Trichomoniasis. Vaginal discharge may also occur if you have an infection in your cervix with gonorrhea or chlamydia. There are other causes of vaginal infections that are less common. Each type of vaginitis is caused by different type of germ or organism, so each type must be treated differently.

What are the signs/symptoms of a vaginal Infection?
If you have a vaginal infection, you may have any of the following:
*Vaginal Discharge that is different from normal
*Vaginal Odor (smell)
*Vaginal Itching
*Pain or irritation when you urinate (pee)
* Pain or burning sensation during sexual intercourse
However, it is important to note that some women may have mild or no symptoms at all.

What do I do if I have a vaginal Infection?
If you have any of the symptoms of vaginal infection, you should see your health care doctor immediately. Delay, waiting or doing self medication might damage some vital organs in the womb or could result into cancer.

Also each of these vaginal infection sometimes has different symptoms. It's hard to know exactly which type of vaginal infection you have just be your symptoms alone, since many of the signs are similar. It's also possible to have more than one type of vaginal infection at the same time. This is why it's important that your see your health doctor or preferably a professional gynecologist to find out what type of vaginitis you have and get treated fast.

It is also important to find out if you have a sexually transmitted infection (STI). Only health care providers who are professionals in this area can find out and tell you if you definitely have a vaginal infection.

You should be completely honest about what symptoms you have when being questioned, such as odor, burning, or strange vaginal discharge, even if it's embarrassing. This way, your doctor can make a correct diagnosis and prescribe the right treatment.

What Can I do to Prevent Vaginal Infections?
The best way to prevent vaginal infections is to practice good feminine hygiene. Vaginal Infections can happen more than once. You should always follow this advice:

*Keep your vaginal area clean and dry. You should wash the outside of your vaginal area every day with luke warm water, and then rinse well . Be sure to pat the area dry with a dry towel.

* Never use perfumed soaps, perfumed bubble bath or gel, scented tampons, vaginal powders, or vaginal deodorant sprays. They can irritate your vagina and cause vaginal infections. The vaginal already has its natural cleaning lubricant/moisture. However if your vaginal area is already irritated, you should not use scented toilet papers, spermicides or soaps.

*Don't wear tight damp clothing, because they can keep moisture in and irritate your vagina. If you do have to wear tight clothing, dont wear it for a long time. Wear cotton underwear. Avoid nylon and Lycra. Cotton helps to absorb moisture and allows air get through. If you wear a pantyhose, remember to wear cotton underwear.

*Practice safe sex. You shouldn't have sex with someone with sexually transmitted infection. No matter what, you should always use latex (or polyurethane) condoms to lessen your chance of getting sexually transmitted infections.

* If you use diaphragms, cervical caps, or any medication applicators, you need to make sure you clean them with warm water regularly and dry them well before inserting.

I do hope this helps and ladies out there can ensure they care for that V-area, its sure very important...*wink

Must Read for all Ladies: Know What Causes Breast Sagging

If you feel like your breasts are begin to droop, don't be alarmed. Sagging of the breasts happens at some stage to most women. This usually occurs in adulthood, particularly in menopause. While sagging of teenage breasts is infrequent, some teenage girls, especially those who have large breasts or exercise frequently, might notice more sagging. Preventing the worsening of sagging breasts is much easier than treating it. If you notice your breasts are beginning to sag prematurely, don't panic because several options are available to you.

Normal Breast Shape
According to the Ohio State University Medical Center, breast growth develops in five stages. Beginning before puberty, the breast will develop from a raised nipple, the breast will become raised and will grow glandular tissue until the breast fills out to an adult breast. Breast shape and size depends on body weight, genetics and hormones, so breast shape varies from woman to woman.
When women have achieved a certain age, her breasts began to relax. This was reasonable because the milk glands shrink, so there is an empty space in the breast skin wrapping.
Relaxation could also be caused by drastic changes in the body, so that the fat in the breast is reduced while the condition is not accompanied by smaller breast skin wrapping.

Here are some of the factors causing falls and breast engorgement in addition to the things that have already been mentioned.
1. Childbirth and breastfeeding. Breast size growing in line with gestational age. Breast enlargement makes its mass increases. Consequently, the downward pull of the stronger.
2. Too big and shock. Similar to the case of nursing mothers. Breast mass affects the gravitational pull. The greater the mass, the greater the gravitational force as well, especially if the breast is always shaken, especially in athletes.
3. There is no buffer. Familiarize yourself with no bra will cause the slack, especially when relatively large breast size.
4. Bad habits. Lie could make sagging breasts. This can be explained by the theory of gravity. In sleep on their side, nothing is supporting the breast at all, except by the BH. In contrast to sleep on their backs, because the breast is supported by the body.
5. Disease. Diseases like TB (tuberculosis) or breast cancer can result in a small, loose, or fall. This is because the viruses that destroy malignant cells and organs.
6. Poor nutrition. Although the consumption of nutritious food is more useful to tighten the skin, this factor is very important. How to Avoid Having Sagging Breasts As A Young Woman

1.    Wear a supportive brassiere
Wear a supportive brassiere (bra). The way to look your best and protect the tissue of your breasts is to wear a bra that fits properly.
Have yourself properly fitted. Many women do not wear the correct bra, and they end up with something that doesn't do its job.
Look for a quality store which specializes in bras and foundation items. This can be a department store, specialty shop, or foundation store. These stores employ staff who are knowledgeable and stock a wide selection of BRANDS of quality products and bras for harder to fit women.
Consult with a professional bra fitter and have your body properly measured. Many quality lingerie stores and department stores offer this service for free.
Feeling shy? That's normal. Bring a female friend, a relative, or your mother. It's always nice to have someone at your side!
2.    Select the correct bra for your needs.
Choose a bra with a wide back strap. The wider the back straps the more support you get in front. This may include bras with 3-6 hooks. You may like the look of a lacy bra with a one hook closure in the back, but it won't support larger breasts. Fortunately, colorful, lacy, cute, and/or sexy supportive bras can now be found in even the largest sizes.
Choose a bra designed to support large breasts. Many companies make structured bras designed to hold larger breasts firmly and comfortably.
Wear a supportive sports bra. This is particularly important in sports that have a lot of movement and bouncing, like running, soccer (football), and rugby. Larger breasted woman may need to shop for specialty sportswear online or in catalogs. Though it might be tempting, do not double up with sports bras. There are better options available even for the largest breasted women.
3.    Make sure you are wearing your bra correctly
Put on your bra correctly. Take the proper amount of time to get dressed and be sure your straps are adjusted to your back. Straps tend to move around and get twisted during laundering. Hand wash your bras whenever possible. Allowing them to air dry, rather than putting them in the dryer, will make them last longer. Be sure and shape the cups as they are drying.
Lean forward when putting on your bra to ensure your chest is centered and perky. Also, make sure the middle of the bra is centered with your body.
Look for the mid-point on your arm and your nipple line should be level with that middle area of your arm. If it is too low you aren't getting enough support.
4.    Avoid health-related problems with breasts
The absolute best thing you can do to reduce the potential problems of sagging and fibro cystic lumps is to self-massage your breasts at least 3 to 5 times a week. This does two wonderful things: It releases stagnated fluids in the breasts for optimal breast health. It also can result in re-shaping and lifting them. Use a natural, organic breast massage oil, made just for breasts, for an enjoyable and deeply relaxing self breast massage.
Consult your physician. He or she might have some ideas that can help, or reassure you that your body is perfectly normal.
Your health care specialist may suggest a weight loss plan. It is common for women to gain weight in their chest. Don't be offended if your doctor puts you on a diet--you can't escape your genetic code. Your body may store fatty cells in your breast tissue, whereas other woman store it in their hips, thighs, and abdomen.
Avoid yo-yo dieting. If you are constantly changing cup sizes, the repeating weight gain and loss will inevitably stretch your breast tissue.
Report persistent back pain. You may need supplemental back support or a prescribed custom bra for your needs.
5.    Do not go braless
Avoid going braless. Gravity will inevitably cause your breasts to sag. Going without a bra for extended periods of time will further stretch the breast tissue.
Do not wear your bra more than 12 hours a day. Studies have shown that wearing a bra more than 12 hours a day may increase breast cancer risk. Extended wearing of tight bras "cages" toxins within the breast tissue by preventing the natural flow of the lymphatic fluids, which are designed to cleanse these toxins out of the tissues.
