Be careful Housefly Could Cause Damage To Your Ears

A young man suffering from maggot infestation had to have them paintstakingly removed with a tweezers. The maggot are seen visibly attached to the inside corner of his ears while over long time been feeding on his flesh. Dr. Vikram Yadav who recently rested him uploaded the video on utube, explaining that houseflies invaded the man's ears while he was fast asleep. Having layers their eggs in his ears, they hatched into several maggot which fed on his flesh. He said if not treated, the maggots who have burrowed into his brain then eventual death. 

The procedure for curing usual involve suffocating the maggots, then applying anti-parasitic drugs then carefully removing them. Patient infested would notice smelly discharge from the ear, some buzz like bangs, which could cause deafness. 

It is important here that, if you notice a housefly close to someone next to you, you will be helping such person by covering them with some cloth over their face so they don't enter into their eyes to lay their eggs. Prevention is always better...

POWER OF VISION; with Joel Adeniyi

‘Where there is no vision the people perish’. Vision can be defined as the ability to see or the power to imagine things. 

Vision is the act and the power of seeing or imagining things. Vision goes beyond what the prophets in the house of God see concerning us. Vision starts with every individual: what he or she sees concerning himself or herself. Before anyone can see something about you there must be something you must have seen concerning yourself. 

But it is so unfortunate today that many are the eyes that look but few are the eyes that see. To look is different from to see. We look with our eyes but we see with our mind. Many minds have been darkened and blinded that they can’t see anything good or positive about themselves unless someone else do it for them.

 Helen Keller: An American author and educator, who were born blind and deaf, became a great woman with astonishing accomplishments in life. In 1903 she wrote two books titled The Story of my life and Optimism, in 1908 she also wrote the world I live in. she wrote many books that are making impact to the people in the world today. She became a lecturer in the school of the blind. She later established $ 2 million endowment fund for the blind and the deaf. 

What a great achievement. One of her favorite quote was “The greatest blindness in life is to have eyes without a vision.” If a blind woman could achieve greatness, what excuse do you that have two eyes widely opened have?  What you see is what you believe and what you believe is what you become. Men of vision are men on mission. They are people that can’t be carried away by anything anyhow except by their vision. 

Vision is the compass that directs and guides the path of a great person to fulfill purpose and also to achieve greatness in life. Qualitative and genuine vision is what can save a nation or individual from perishing. The ability to see ahead is a great opportunity to be ahead. If you don’t see ahead, you can’t be ahead. Vision is the sign post to purpose on earth. 

  The vision you see concerning yourself is what is important most not the vision of anyone. The vision of any prophet concerning your life should be the confirmation of the vision you see concerning yourself. Let the light of God shine into the thick darkness of your mind and open the inner eyes of your mind then you can begin to see new and great things concerning you and future. It starts with God and ends with God.

You can’t do it alone, for the fish can’t survive without its source which is God so also man can’t without the source which is God. Remember, you were born to be great and you can be great if only you choose to be. It is a matter of choice and not a must.

In the Kitchen: Cinnamon-honey Donut

Are you looking for that pastry to entail your guest or for your kids, here is Cinnamon-honey Donuts. Recipe from Azizsh Idris. Taste yummilicious... Join in 😋😋😋

The ingredients below: 

Cinnamon-Honey Donuts

2 cups flour

1/2 cup sugar

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon

For wet ingredients

2 tbsp melted butter

1 egg lightly beaten

1/4 honey ( if you dont like honey use 1 cup of sugar instead of 1/2 cup above)

11/4 cup liquid milk.

Mix dry ingredients. Beat wet ingredients and add to dry ingredients mix gently to loosen lumps.

Pour 1/4 cup or one laddle of batter in oiled pans ( donut or muffin pan) 

Bake at 175 degrees for 15-17 minutes.

NB: don't fill the pan to the brim as these babies rise during baking.

Enjoy with hot-Choclate, tea or coffe!

Be #MINDFUL", A New Song Release By Tuoyo Buwa (T4, d Fortified)

Introducing Tuoyo Buwa also known as T4 (d fortified). A young vibrant man of musical skills, from delta state in Nigerian but who currently reside in Turkish Republic of North Cyprus (TRNC). Although born in Lagos, grew up in Rivers States, speaks itsekiri fluently. Attended COEDSS Ndele in rivers state,  graduated from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma In Nigeria (Bsc),  then proceeded for his Masters Programme in TRNC.  He is a God loving, Born again, Spirit filled music minister that is passionate about the gospel of Christ, hence his suave into Music as a means to win souls for Christ through his Musical Ministration. 

 

His music career started way back in 2003 while in the university in Nigeria. Having started with a group called "The Ambassadors”. In 2008, he proceeded to start his own solo career in music as a result of his passion for music. He is fully been blessed with so many inspiration to compose gospel, worship and praises songs. Good to say that in 2011 he released his first song title "No Be My Head", and later in 2013 with a single titled "Up & Forward", the link to the music below.  

Early this year, January 2014, he released another title "Special Grace", indeed the special grace of God is moving around him and it's been evident in his musical career- hallelujah. But guess what, there is another hot single due to be release soon on 22.11.2014, which is caption "MINDFUL". I bet you don't want to miss that, having listen to it myself the song it's a blast; one that will suave your mind.

 

I ask him why the caption "MINDFUL", listen to what he has to say, 

      " MINDFUL is a song birthed from the spirit (Psalms 8:4-6). The song is about how God has been careful of us, how he has been caring, loving, blessing, protecting, guiding and thinking of us. It is something that i can't take for granted. The key thing in the song is ‘even in our imperfections, his mercy prevails... It is a wonder that God should vouchsafe a gracious look upon such a creature as man; it is wonderful, considering the distance between God and man, as man is a creature and God the creator. "What is man," that God should take notice of him?. But instead God  crowned us with glory and honour and put all things under our feet".

Late Myles Munroe's Son Finally Speaks on Father's Death

'God is in control' were one of the touching words from Chairo Munroe- son of the late renowned preacher, Myles Munroe. 

The family of Dr. Munroe has finally given an official speech on the sudden deaths of the prominent pastor and his wife, Ruth Ann. 

Speaking on behalf of the family was Chairo Munroe -only son of the late Dr. Munroe, surrounded by friends and families at the Grand Bahama press conference. 

"We are not sure how or why something like this would be allowed to happen to such great individuals, but still, God is in control," Munroe said. 

The late author, business coach and motivational speaker, died on Sunday November 9 in a small plane crash along with this wife and seven others who were on board, at the Grand Bahama International Airport, in the Bahamas. 

There is an uncertainty on whether daughter of the late preacher, Charisa Munroe died in the tragic crash which killed all on board. 

Mentioning his sister in the 14-minute video, Chairo said: "The last few days have been the most difficult times for my sister and I, my family and all of those affected by this loss," he said. 

He continued: "We are saddened by this tragic event, but we are comforted and encouraged by the outpouring of love and support from around the country and those around the world at large."

HIV New Cure For Cancer Patient!

Seems like HIV is now the new cure for cancer. Marshall in the pix above is a patient who was diagonized of extreme cancer in 2012, but as it were he seems to have been declared cancer free. He was one of the 30 patient who was randomly selected to undergo a trial treatment at Penn Medicine not so long ago. He was transfused with a white blood cell which was implanted in him which procedures were harmless inorder to kill the cancer. 

However, of the 30 patients who were battling with leukemia which trial medication was administered, 23 are still alive, while 19 recorded cancer free. Dr. Carl June and his team of physician has spent nearly two decades working on a cure on cancer while experimenting with the HIV virus as a like-able cure. 

Also, a 7 yearold Emma a also received the treatment in 2012, having been the first to receive, hence has been cancer free for 2 years now. 

Nigerian Making Waves: Urine has a source of Energy!

Unbelievable but true, urine can now be a source of energy generation. Meet Nigerian Ejikeme Patrick Nwosu who has used his knowledge in the industrial Chemistry in using the Urine to solve it's energy crisis. This Urine he use to develop a component of hydrogen-ammonia which is rich in flammable gases as such can be use to generate energy, and fire resistance substances.

He is a graduate of Pure and Industrial Chemistry from the formost Nnamdi Azikwe Univeristy, Anambra-Nigeria. Hr also bagged a MSc in organic Chrmistry from the premier University in western Nigeria, University of Ibadan, OYo State. Nwosu believes that this process in the near future represent the incessant fossil pollution in the atmosphere.

Believe me, I won't be surprise if in the near future according to him, our urine will be for sale...well, for now, am saving my urine for collection...hehehe. Though funny, contrary to believe that urine is a waste, it sure has it uses and benefits. I see it as the solution to the our highly sought energy problem especially from the corridor in which I come- Africa.

*WHEW*...I can't believe i have been MIA (missing in action) for a while now. To all my subs and readers, guess to say am truly so sorry about that...too much things has d happened as I have face some life up & downs, prioritizing needs, academic, family and biz. On the whole, thank God for scaling through all the hurdles. One phase of which is getting my doctoral degree, will share some of the happy moments with you in other coming write-ups. While also engaging in a volunteering mission in Thailand, it was such a happy moment for me during these times. Don't worry seat tight and ride along with me on the blog where will be sharing amazing inspirational caps, entertainment gist around the showbiz world, more importantly sharing with some of us who will like to take advantage of the various opportunities in the academia. Trust me this is going to be the best of time with very juicy gists and news just for you all...

RIP Dora Akunyili; A True Martyr

Today we stand on the shoulders of those who sacrificed and paved the way for Us. Today a sad news fills the air about the Exit of an ICON. A woman of Substance, integrity, courage, a Woman greater than Most Men because of Her honesty.

One admired by all Lovers of justice and good deeds. One Woman who equalled 100,000 Men in Nigeria. Today I join billion of admirers of good all over the world to mourn the demise of a woman with deep conviction, energy and a rare determination to fight corruption. 

You created the awareness and raised our consciousness to the evils of fake drugs! I check expiry dates on everything and if there's no Nafdac no i move on! You're such a rare gem, your service to humanity was indeed rare, going by what we have in Nigeria today. 

Oh death, The Amazon of our time has been called home. Today Prof. Dora Nkem Akunyili has won the battle against Cancer. She Came, she saw and she conquered. 

We will all miss you, woman of courage.

8 Health Warnings Your Finger Nails May Be Sending!

Now hold your finger nails at a closer range level with your nose about a foot out from your face and scrutinize each one. Look at the grooves, curves, ridges and dips. Notice how thick or thin they are and if there are any stark differences. Are your nails chipped or broken. Make a note of the color of the nail somewhere on a note pad. This is the first step, as you need to get into the habit of knowing your nails and any changes that can occur. Changes are a good indication of the onset of several health problems.

Don’t ignore these ridges by using a nail buffer to smooth the surface – these are warnings to be noticed!

2. THICK NAILS: It is fairly obvious is you have a thickening of the nails and they can have several causes including:

•Thick/separated nails can indicate thyroid disease or psoriasis
•Thick/rough-surfaced nails can be a sign of fungal infection
•Unusually thick nails could be a symptom of a circulation problem
•Thick nails alone could even signal lung disease
Thickening is fairly easy to notice when it first appears but please note that allergic reactions to some medications manifest themselves as thick nails!

3. DISCOLORED NAILS: A healthy nail bed i.e the tip of the nail) should be pink with a slight pinky white moon shape at the base. Streaks of any other stronger shades or colors can indicate health issues, there are nails that are tinged by other colors such as:

•Dark stripes towards the top of the nail are associated with aging and congestive heart failure
•Blueish tinge to the nails can be a sign of depleted oxygen levels in your blood
•Green nails are usually a sign of a bacterial infection
•White nails indicate liver disease, such as hepatitis
•Red streaks on the nail bed could be a warning of an infection of the heart valves
•Dull nails in general mean a deficiency of vitamins

Inspect your nails when they are clean and you should know when the color changes

4: PITTED NAILS: Sometimes small dips can just be the result of a bash to the hand in general, but sometimes more attention should be paid as they can be a symptom of:

•Zinc deficiency (usually the pit will form a line across the middle of the nailbed)
•Connective tissue disorder
•Psoriasis
•Alopecia areata, which is an autoimmune disorder that results in hair loss

Learn the difference between an injury related imperfection which should not last too long, and a potential disease related imperfection which will not clear up.

5. DRY AND BRITTLE NAILS: Healthy nails should not require cuticle oil and moisturizers as they should maintain themselves. Excessively dry or brittle nails can be a sign of a hormonal balance problem or a bacterial infection.

•Thyroid disease can result in brittle, dry nails that also crack and split very easily
•Fungus can cause nails to become dry or even crumbly and is a common problem
Both these potential problems can be treated and the nails will return to good health once a full growing cycle has passed (hand nails grow at about 1 mm per week so on average the full life cycle of human nail is about 6 months). 

6. CONCAVE OR SPOON SHAPED NAILS:What are known as ‘full spoon’ nails are very soft and curve upwards with the dip being pronounced enough to hold a drop or two of liquid. This usually is an indication of:
•Heart disease
•Iron deficiency (usually from anemia)
•Hypothyroidism
•Hemachromatosis, which is a liver disorder caused by the body absorbing too much iron
If medical intervention clears up the root cause then the nails will return to a normal healthy shape with time.

7. CLUBBED NAILS: This is when the skin around the nail bed can appear inflamed or unusually puffy. This can mean:
•Liver disease
•Lung disease, especially if you already have trouble breathing
•Inflammatory bowel disease

•AIDS
Most of these health issues will often have already given you other symptoms but the corresponding nail condition can help with diagnosis.

8. SPLIT NAILS: Often our nails split if we have injured them. But when no trauma has occured but the nail flakes away layer by layer it can be a result of several issues:

•Chronic malnutrition
•Deficiency of Vitamin C, folic acid or proteins
•Split nails together with a pitted nail bed can indicate psoriasis
Eating a healthy well balanced diet can eliminate many of these causes.

Obviously our fingernails will not be the only signs of these diseases, but they can provide confirmation or else the motivation to seek further medical attention.

Tragic: Author and poet Maya Angelou was found dead in her home in North Carolina on Wednesday

Civil rights activist, groundbreaking poet and author who wrote "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" Maya Angelou is dead at 86.

According to reports, a caretaker found her dead at her home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, this morning, 28th May 2014.

She had been struggling with health problems in recent weeks and had recently canceled a May 30 appearance at the 2014 MLB Beacon Award Luncheon in Houston, where she was to be honored with the 'Beacon Life Award.'

The civil rights icon blamed her failing health for missing the event.

An official at the Winston-Salem mayor's office confirmed that the poet had passed away.

Angelou has been celebrated as one of the greatest writers of her generation, bringing light to the struggles of women and African Americans -- as well as  the human condition, at large.

She was the first African American woman to be honored with a Pulitzer Prize and had received countless other accolades for her work including  the Presidential Medal of Freedom, for her collected works of poetry, fiction and nonfiction, including her groundbreaking memoir, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, which made history as one of the first nonfiction best-sellers by an African-American woman.

The famed author has received more than 30 honorary degrees from universities around the world.  She published 7 autobiographies, 3 books of essays, and several books of poetry, and is credited with a list of plays, movies,and television shows spanning more than 50 years.

10 Obvious Fact To Know When A Guy Is Flirting With You

2. Shy blush

Perhaps you know how it’s difficult to flirt with shy guys, but it doesn’t mean that you should avoid such type of man. If you notice that a guy blushes around you, this is one of the most obvious signs he is trying to flirt with you. However, not only do shy guys blush, any guy can actually blush when he sees a beautiful girl. Blushing is a bodily function that we can’t control and if he blushes around you, he certainly likes you.

This sign is a little bit tricky, but surely worth paying attention to. Eye contactis important during communication and we need to use this form of body language as often as we can. Depending on how long a man holds an eye contact with you, you can find out whether or not he likes you. I personally don't like it when guys uses this way while flirting with ladies, but still it's one of the signs he is truly flirting with you.

If your crush touches you, it’s definitely a sign he likes you. But, when a guy touches you accidentally, this is absolutely another sign to watch for. It means the guy is trying to get your attention and find any excuse to continue conversation with you. Do you like that guy? If yes, flirt back! Most girls ignore this important sign, but you shouldn’t do it. After all, he might be your hubby!

7. Head Tilts

The way a man tilts his head can also signify that he likes you. If he tilts the head towards you, this means he’s listening attentively to each word you say. This also means he’s really attuned to what you are talking about and he’s really interested in conversation with you. I love that amazing feeling when a man is listening to me. I always appreciate it, even if I’m not interested in that man.

Sometimes our eyes give us away when we don’t want them to. When we are attracted to someone or something our pupils dilate and they become larger. When we don’t like someone or something, our pupils contract. If you notice that the eyes of the guy keep dilating, it’s one of the most obvious signs he adores you and is highly interested in you.

9. Raised eyebrows

You crush may hide his eyes when he is around you because he likes you. He can keep his eyebrows a little bit raised as well. If his eyes are widened and his eyebrows remain raised while you’re talking, this is definite sign he is flirting with you. Watch for it and you’ll surely see it!

10. Fidgeting

Do you fidget when you are around the guy you like? I’m pretty sure you do and it’s okay. You are just nervous and it’s actually a good nervous. It’s all about expectation since you don’t know whether or not he is interested in you. If you see him fidgeting, this is because he’s interested in you and he is a bit nervous to start conversation with you.
