Another Nigerian Dead in India’s Goa

A group of Nigerian Nationals yesterday Thursday (October 31) attacked the police van carrying the body of a fellow National who was found stabbed to death in India's beach state Goa.

The body of the Nigerian man found with stabbed wounds in Mapusa town, and triggered protests with Nigerians blocking the roads and allegedly attacking a police vehicle.

`Police have not filed a murder case due to which these Nigerians are protesting and they have blocked the road as well. They have blocked the highway from last two hours and police are just waiting and looking at the situation, "said Joseph, a local resident.

Nigerian nationals removed the body from the van and kept it on the road, blocking traffic in the area.

The chief of India's Goa state, Manohar Parrikar, said the murder charge would be investigated, while 53 Nigerians had been detained for allegedly attacking the police.

Shey na like this we go dey go, i kept wondering what the government of Nigeria are doing to protect the lives of its citizens abroad, couple of months ago two youthful inspiring citizen were killed in the island of Cyprus. These are young minds which could have make a difference. My opinion is that of a misplaced government which lack focus.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
